I didn’t start this firm to play it safe. I started it because I saw how many small business owners were left in the dark when it came to their finances. I built this firm to change that — with real support, clear communication, and the kind of service that feels like someone actually cares. And we’ve done just that.

​S. Godoy & Associates provides professional bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax strategy, payroll, entity formation, and financial wealth services for clients across multiple states. As a tax strategist for small businesses, I work closely with clients to provide proactive, year-round planning — helping them understand how their business decisions impact their taxes, avoid unnecessary surprises, and stay in control of their financial picture. As an IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) participant, I stay current with ongoing tax education to ensure clients receive informed, compliant, and strategic guidance.

I’ve grown this firm from a dream to a multi-award-winning tax and accounting firm serving the DFW area— hiring a team, streamlining operations, and building a reputation for being responsive, trustworthy, and thorough. I’ve been invited to speak at local business events, featured in the 2025 Leading Women edition of Living Magazine, and Voyage Dallas Magazine.

Before launching my firm, I earned two associate degrees, graduated magna cum laude, and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society — achievements that reflect my commitment to excellence and growth. I'm currently working toward becoming an Enrolled Agent so I can represent clients at the highest level before the IRS.

I’m a hands-on problem solver who believes that smooth operations are the foundation of excellent client service. With years of experience managing complex technical systems and leading service teams, I bring that same precision and structure to the financial world. At S. Godoy & Associates, my focus is on keeping the firm running efficiently behind the scenes—so our clients always experience clarity, consistency, and reliability.

I oversee everything from internal processes and technology systems to scheduling and workflow design. My background in troubleshooting automation, managing large teams, and coordinating logistics has translated seamlessly into accounting operations—where every detail matters. Whether it’s refining how our client data flows, improving response times, or implementing systems that save our team hours each week, I take pride in creating order, efficiency, and balance across the firm.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: make sure every part of our operation supports our clients’ success.
When I’m not fine-tuning workflows or tackling tech challenges, you’ll find me outdoors—hunting, fishing, or exploring. Those experiences remind me a lot of business operations: you have to plan ahead, stay patient, and adapt quickly when things change. That’s the mindset I bring to both life and work, ensuring that every day, we’re moving forward with purpose and precision.
